Mohican State Park and the adjacent state forest cover a huge area of rugged terrain along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River. The Clear Fork Gorge is the centerpiece - a deep, hemlock-lined canyon with a covered bridge and one of the tallest waterfalls in Ohio. The old-growth hemlocks in the gorge are hundreds of years old and create a cathedral-like atmosphere.
