Grand Canyon National Park

What can you say about the Grand Canyon that hasn't already been said? It's one of those places where photos just don't do it justice. The scale is impossible to process until you're standing on the rim looking down a vertical mile of layered rock. We've visited twice now and both times we just stood there in silence for the first few minutes. Going below the rim takes it to another level entirely.

One of the best trails into the Grand Canyon. Ridge-top hiking with panoramic views the entire way down - no trees blocking your sightlines. Ooh Aah Point is just 0.9 miles in and worth it alone. Going below the rim is a completely different experience than looking from the top.
